Abstract
According to the law or: the art of staying authentic
Laws are not always self-understandable and the terms contained therein are often ambiguous. The focus of the legal methodology is the interpretation of the laws by authorities and courts according to wording, systematics, origin, meaning and purpose. The opposite plays their authentic interpretation by the legislator itself practically hardly a role. The article outlines the instrument of authentic interpretation and its location in the system of separation of powers.
