Abstract
AbstractArgentina is going through profound changes, and the world is watching. President Milei is engaged in a political battle to change the country and relieve its citizens from the burden of an omnipresent state. He is also quite active in another field, the battle of ideas, necessary to eventually win the first.This article considers the world of ideas as one of several markets where Milei is an active entrepreneur. It is necessary, though, to understand how these markets work: ideas are a determinant for institutions; these set incentives, which in turn influence outcomes. Different entrepreneurs compete at different levels: academia, journalism, politics, networks and others. Understanding how each level works may assist anyone to consider which role they do and can play, the metaphors to be used, the way to change the world of ideas. None of us will be competitive at all levels of this marketplace; we must consider what our strengths are and our areas of interest to be active and effective. And then, well, just do it.
